Sapling Genealogy will fully investigate and exhibit one of more of your family lines. Using birth, marriage & death certificates enables us to accurately trace your family history. Census records, parish registers and other available documentation may also show where your family lived, what occupations they had and give us a glimpse into what life may have looked like for them. We can access military documents, newspaper articles, criminal/prison records and more, so who knows what we may find?

Based in North Yorkshire, we may be able to travel to local cemeteries and archives if needed (this may incur extra costs and would be discussed prior to actively completing such tasks). Additionally we can locate the home of your ancestors (if still present) and take photographs of this, and/or their local town, church, village, or maybe even place of work. 

Our research packages & pricing are designed to allow us to accurately research and pull together your family history.

Note: This package takes up to 6 months to complete, ensuring every detail of your family’s history is thoroughly researched and accurately documented. There may be different amounts of information available for various ancestors dependent upon available records, for some we may never get beyond the name.

Additional Branches

Include Full Sibling Branches in Your Family Story

If you would like to include full sibling branches in your research, we are happy to investigate these for you. Please note that this will incur an additional surcharge per branch to cover the time and dedication required to accurately explore and document these details. We can discuss this further during your free initial consultation, ensuring you have all the information you need before making a decision.

Please note sibling branches may only be exhibited in a traditional style tree which allows for this within its format. 

If you would like a branch displayed on a separate tree this can be discussed on a case by case basis.

All branches researched in addition to the Woodland Package will be included in your Family Story Booklet.
